About Image PDF Tools
Image PDF Tools is a focused collection of browser utilities. The aim is to make each transformation understandable before a file is selected: the exact output, likely losses, browser limits, and a concrete way to verify the download.
Local-first by architecture
Supported image and PDF operations read the selected bytes inside the current browser and create the result there. The application does not run a file-conversion upload endpoint. Page delivery and analytics still use ordinary network requests, so local processing is not the same as using an offline website.
How guidance is reviewed
Tool pages are reviewed against implemented input filters, codecs, output settings, failure paths, and required web APIs. Browser notes describe expected behavior in current Chrome/Edge, Firefox, and Safari where those APIs are available; verify important output on your own device.
Known limits are part of the product
Lossy image exports cannot restore source detail. Rendering PDF pages to images removes selectable text and vectors. Rewriting a PDF can omit advanced forms, signatures, scripts, portfolios, attachments, or bookmarks. Important originals should be retained until the result has been inspected in its destination application.
Independent service and open-source components
The service is not affiliated with Adobe, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Mozilla, or file-format owners. It uses reviewed open-source libraries, including local PDF and image codecs. Advertising is disabled; the site currently uses only Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate site measurement.
