Important limitations
TIFF is a broad family: unsupported compression, unusual sample layouts, extra channels, spot colors, complex ICC workflows, malformed offsets, or very large page and memory budgets are rejected. Decoding may flatten alpha and color into browser RGBA, and metadata is not preserved in the PNG pages.
