How local processing works

The browser follows the existing top-level outline sequence. Every entry must have a title and a supported direct internal destination to a physical page, and those destinations must already be in strictly increasing page order. Valid ranges are copied to separate PDFs, with leading pages placed in a Preface part when the first bookmark starts after page one.

How to use it

Important limitations

Nested child bookmarks are not used as boundaries. A missing outline, or any top-level entry with an external URL, unsupported action, missing title, malformed destination, duplicate page, or out-of-order page, stops the whole operation instead of being skipped, sorted, or guessed. Printed page labels are not interpreted.
