Prepare a photo for an application

Starting parameters

Start with 600 × 600 pixels and a 100 KB JPEG limit (100,000 bytes). Change these to the receiving site's actual requirements; this is not a passport certification preset.

Processing steps

1. Select a photo or the original synthetic sample. Position the crop and inspect the face or subject before processing.
2. Set the required width, height and byte limit. The local chain crops, resizes, searches JPEG quality and creates a fresh file without source metadata.
3. Download only after reviewing the preview and dimensions. If the target cannot be reached, adjust dimensions or the limit and retry.

Check the result

Check pixel dimensions, output bytes, framing and readable details. Open the downloaded JPEG independently and keep the original.

Limits and losses

JPEG is lossy; transparency becomes white. Enlargement cannot recover detail. A small file does not guarantee acceptance by an application portal.

Local processing

Files and outputs stay in this browser; originals are not overwritten. Samples contain invented data. Download results before clearing or leaving. OCR downloads its recognition model, not your document.
