Hide private details in an image

Starting parameters

Use a supported still image. Mark every sensitive region separately; the synthetic contact card contains invented details for practice. Opaque masks, not blur, are used.

Processing steps

1. Load the image and inspect it at a readable scale. Add regions around all details that must not remain visible.
2. Move, resize or delete masks and compare the original with the preview. Include margins around letters and inspect edges carefully.
3. Export deliberately. The processor applies masks to decoded pixels and creates a fresh file, discarding the original metadata.

Check the result

Open the downloaded image separately, zoom into every mask and check the entire image for missed details. The original file must remain private.

Limits and losses

There is no automatic face or secret detection. Masking selected rectangles does not prove the rest of the image is safe to share; re-encoding can change quality and color.

Local processing

Files and outputs stay in this browser; originals are not overwritten. Samples contain invented data. Download results before clearing or leaving. OCR downloads its recognition model, not your document.
